Quantum criticality in Ce1−xSmxCoIn5

Motivated by the possibility of observing co-existence between magnetism and unconventional superconductivity in heavy-fermion Ce$_{1-x}$Sm$_x$CoIn$_5$ alloys, we studied how samarium substitution on cerium site affects magnetic field-tuned-quantum criticality stoicheometric CeCoIn$_5$ performing specific heat resistivity measurements. By applying an external field, have observed Fermi-liquid to non-Fermi-liquid crossovers temperature dependence electronic normalized resistivity. We obtained magnetic-field-induced quantum critical point (QCP) extrapolating zero - field at which take place. Furthermore, a scaling analysis is used confirm existence QCP. found that magnitude QCP decreases with increasing concentration. Our capacity data reveals zero-field for $x_\textrm{cr} \approx 0.15$, falls inside region where Sm ions antiferromagnetism co-exist.
